WITH BLACK BELT CLUB

Beginner Weapons Training:

This is where the journey expands. Students in Black Belt Club begin their weapons training—a fun and foundational experience that builds coordination, discipline, and precision. Each quarter, students are responsible for bringing and caring for their weapon as they learn how to use it as an extension of the martial arts skills they already know. It’s not about self-defense against others—it’s about control, responsibility, and mastering movement.

Sparring:

In the Basic Program, students learn sparring drills to develop real time reactions. In Black Belt Club, they move into live sparring—applying timing, reaction, and creativity in a controlled environment. Students learn how to adapt, defend, and respond on the spot, taking their skills from practice to performance.

Specialty Training

Black Belt Club members also have access to a third training day each week—a specialty class that lets them focus on what they love most: sparring, forms, or their favorite weapon. This extra time on the mat helps students grow faster and stay engaged by pursuing their personal martial arts passions.

Black Belt Club students aren’t just training for their next belt—they’re training to become leaders, role models, and martial artists with deeper understanding and broader skills- on and off the mat. This nomination means your instructors see that potential in you.
